Bam Bam Resources (CSE:BBR) Corp has reported what it called "very encouraging" results from core from seven historic holes at the DeSoto oxide zone at its flagship Majuba Hill project in Nevada, which continue to help the firm understand the asset's district-scale potential.
The results showed that molybdenum, zinc, lead, and arsenic zoning strongly correlates with the results of magnetic and induced polarization (IP) geophysical studies at the zone and that there is a "prominent northwest-trending magnetic linear" area.
Results from the historic core included a length of 7.8 metres (m) at 0.57% copper and 28.09 grams per ton (g/t) silver, starting from a depth of 46.5 metres (m).
"I am excited for us to have the opportunity to test the DeSoto Oxide Zone," said David Greenway, the company's CEO in a statement.

Our geology team has been able to capitalize on the understanding from the drilling, geophysical surveys, geochemical surveys, and geological mapping completed by Bam Bam. The significant amount of historic data we have compiled and combined with the modern understanding of Porphyry Copper deposits has proved very valuable for identifying Majuba as a major district." Greenway added.
Bam Bam noted that ten elements were summarized from the historically reported data and core intervals results.
The company's flagship project is the Majuba Hill copper, silver and gold district, which sits 156 miles from Reno, Nevada.
The company is focused on latter-stage copper and copper/silver/gold assets in direct response to the growing worldwide demand and lack of supply for precious metals fueled by the Green New Deal in the US and most other developed nations with similar programs aimed at addressing climate change.
