Bango to present long-term plans at annual Strategy Day

The group wants “to become the technology behind every payment choice”

Bango PLC (AIM:BGO) said it is hosting its annual Strategy Day on Wednesday where it will explain its plans “to become the technology behind every payment choice”.

The group is looking to make online commerce frictionless, allowing payment options such as carrier billing, mobile wallets and subscription bundling.

It will also use payment transaction data to make marketing more effective through targeting purchase behaviour.

The long-term plan is based on an expanding addressable market that increased revenue at 52% CAGR over the last five years, while future growth is expected to generate gross margin of at least 95%.

The AIM-listed firm also noted accelerating momentum of the SaaS-based Platform licensing business: early wins include BT PLC and Verizon, contributing with an estimated US$7mln of additional high margin annual recurring revenue (ARR) in 2023.

Bango added it has achieved 20-fold growth in app developer engagement over the last 18 months for its purchase behaviour targeting business.

“Bango is on a strong revenue growth trajectory, driven by our unique and highly scalable platform. Continued high margins mean that this organic growth will be funded by our own cash generation,” chief executive Paul Larbey said.
