Anacortes Mining Corp. (TSX-V:XYZ) said it has resolved all outstanding issues with Minera Boroo Misquichilca SA (MBM). Furthermore, Anacortes said it has completed the transfer of ownership of surface rights, drill core, and all related data associated with its 100%-owned Tres Cruces project in north-Central Peru, which is about 10 kilometres (km) south of Barrick's past-producing Lagunas Norte operation. Subsequently, MBM (formerly Minera Barrick Misquichilca) has no further rights related to Tres Cruces. "This is an important step in advancing the Tres Cruces project as now all mineral claims, surface rights, core, reverse circulation pulps and rejects as well as the entire exploration database are completely under the ownership of Anacortes,” said Anacortes CEO Jim Currie.

Chesapeake Financial Shares Inc, the parent company of both Chesapeake Bank and Chesapeake Wealth Management, told shareholders that it grew third-quarter earnings as it increased assets and improved on its non-performing loans after reviewing its loan portfolio. At the end of the third quarter ended September 30, 2021, the community bank reported earnings of $3,771,100, an 11.5% increase from the third quarter a year earlier. The reported earnings per share (EPS) was $0.778 fully diluted, compared to $0.692 in 3Q, 2020. Total assets at the end of the quarter stood at $1.33 billion, a 10.3% increase over September 30, 2020. Non-performing loans were 0.776% of total gross loans as of September 30 compared to 0.868% a year earlier. "We have been rigorously reviewing our loan portfolio since March 2020 and have been closely monitoring the effect the pandemic has had on our customers,” chairman and CEO Jeffrey Szyperski said in a statement. “Our loan customers have weathered all challenges well."

PyroGenesis Canada Inc announced that it was awarded an Innovative Solutions Canada (ISC) Phase 2 contract of $1.15 million for developing a hybrid ceramic powder (HCP) processing system for the National Research Council Canada.The Montreal-based company will build a system using its unique thermal plasma solution that would process ceramic powder and carbon nanotube synthesis in the same plasma reactor, the release said.Carbon nanotubes hold significant potential for mechanical reinforcement in composite materials, including ceramic composites. However, the bundling of the carbon nanotubes prevents this process. “The main competitive advantage of our solution is the ability to process ceramic powder in the same reactor as the carbon nanotube synthesis, allowing for production in a single step,” said Pierre Carabin, chief strategist of PyroGenesis. “We believe this process will prove far more efficient and scalable than conventional technologies such as the Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) process.”

Fundamental Research Corp analysts initiated coverage on Blue Sky Uranium Corp with a ‘Buy’ rating and a $0.47 per share fair value estimate, citing key catalysts that include drill results and rising sector optimism driven by the global movement towards clean energy. Blue Sky Uranium hold a portfolio of four uranium assets in Argentina, which includes the company’s flagship Amarillo Grande project that has “potential to be a low-cost mine as the cash cost is estimated to be just US$16 a pound.”

Vyant Bio Inc. has announced a new partnership with MASORI Therapeutics, a company focused on the pharmaceutical industry and applying artificial intelligence to achieve competitive advantage through the creation of innovative market solutions. Under the agreement, the two companies will pursue co-development and out-licensing partnerships with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. MASORI Therapeutics combines healthcare and digital expertise that enables life sciences companies to leverage artificial intelligence (AI), machine-learning, and virtual reality to achieve brand growth and better analysis, targeting, and execution.

PlantX Life Inc has announced the expansion of its wholly-owned Bloombox Club Limited subsidiary into Canada. Bloombox Club, a UK-based e-commerce platform that sells indoor plants directly to consumers, recently launched its indoor plant services throughout Canada under a new domain, bloomboxclub.ca.“ As Bloombox Club grows internationally, PlantX will continue to provide management and operational support to a popular segment of PlantX,” PlantX Life founder Sean Dollinger said in a statement.

Nextleaf Solutions Ltd shared that it signed an agreement with Medicibis (Mendo) — a Quebec-based licensed producer — to supply Glacial Gold vapes and distilled oils for Mendo’s medical platform. Mendo operates an online portal for medical patients that ships nationwide. The newly-contracted Glacial Gold CBD and THC vapes, and distilled oils will be distributed to their medical cannabis clients in Quebec and across Canada through the online platform, the release stated. "Launching accessibly-priced Glacial Gold vapes and distilled oils in Canada's medical market and in Quebec have been important milestones for Nextleaf,” said Paul Pedersen, CEO of Nextleaf Solutions. He added: “We believe Mendo and their Quebec-based medical platform is positioned to become one of the leading suppliers of medical cannabis to patients and veterans in this country."

Falcon Gold Corp (TSX-V:FG, OTC:FGLDF), a precious metals developer released an update on its summer 2021 mapping and sampling program at the Central Canada gold project near Atikokan, Ontario. Sampling conducted on the JJ Walshe mine trend returned five grab samples ranging from 11.2 grams per ton (g/t) gold (Au) to 79.7 g/t Au. The exploration company also noted that assay results highlighted several previously undocumented gold-bearing zones across the property including, the Sugar Shear (22.9 g/t Au), Monte (3.63 g/t Au), Honey (1.04 g/t Au) and Hoist Zone (1.12 g/t Au).

Midwest Energy Emissions Corp, also known as ME2C Environmental (OTCQB:MEEC), has told investors it expects to report significant full-year 2021 revenue growth and to realize positive cash flow from its operations for the foreseeable future. Revenues for the third quarter of fiscal 2021 are expected to increase by about 75% to at least $4.9 million from $2.8 million in the same quarter last year, while fourth-quarter revenues are likely to reach $4 million, the company said in an operational summary and preliminary results statement. “Our revenue from this third quarter is our highest revenue quarter in over three years; the last time our revenues exceeded $4 million in any quarter was 3Q 2018,” CEO Richard MacPherson said in the statement.

American Resources Corporation (NASDAQ:AREC) has commenced engineering and planning for the restart of its wholly-owned Wyoming County Coal (WCC) mining complex in West Virginia. The complex, the company noted, is unique in that it is one of the last fully permitted complexes accessing premium "mid vol" metallurgical carbon for steel production. "We acquired Wyoming County Coal in late 2018 for approximately $20 million due to its access to the world's most premium steelmaking carbon and potential for attractive growth and substantial margin,” said American Resources President Thomas Sauve in a statement.

One World Lithium Inc announced that diamond drill hole (DDH-4) has reached a depth of 518 metres (1,700 feet) at its Salar del Diablo lithium brine project in Mexico. In a statement, the Vancouver-based company said that one zone was sampled between 331 and 381 metres and another sample between 460 and 518 metres, which are sampling intervals of 50 and 58 metres for a total interval of 106 metres or 348 feet. Samples from DDH-4 are being prepared at an ALS laboratory in Hermosillo, Mexico. Samples from previous drill holes DDH-1, -2, and -3, as well as -4, will be prepared for assaying at the ALS Vancouver lab.

Global Energy Metals Corporation (GEMC) announced that it was poised to further increase its ownership of Electric Royalties as it announced a deal to create a new 1% net smelter royalty (NSR) on the Rana nickel-cobalt-copper project in Norway. The project, which includes the past-producing Bruvann nickel mine which was in production from 1989 until 2002, is jointly held by GEMC and Scandinavian Resource Holdings (SRH) and lies on the Ofoten Fjord. A letter of intent has now been signed between Electric Royalties and SRH to create the new royalty on four exploration licenses totaling 25 square kilometers (sq km) in the Råna mafic-ultramafic intrusion.

Chesapeake Financial Shares, Inc. has said that at an October 14, 2021 meeting, its board of directors approved a dividend of $0.14 per share to shareholders of record as of December 1, 2021, payable on or before December 15, 2021.

CLS Holdings (LSE:CLI) USA Inc., a diversified cannabis company operating as Cannabis Life Sciences, revealed that its Nevada wholly-owned subsidiaries clocked up net revenues of $1.7 million and a gross margin of 50% for the month of September 2021. The Las Vegas, Nevada-based cannabis company said it achieved its goal of 50% gross margin, while continuing to see "significant growth" in the branded wholesale division at City Trees. “Year-over-year, City Trees saw an increase in net revenue of 22% and 66% over 2019,” said the company.

Maverix Metals Inc (TSX:MMX) told investors it is paying US$23.5 million from existing cash to increase its royalty interest in the producing Omolon operation in Russia to 2.5% gross, which will lift the attributable gold equivalent ounces Maverix receives from the project to 5,000 ounces, from 2,000 previously. The firm has struck a deal with Omolon Gold Mining, a subsidiary of Polymetal International PLC (LSE:POLY), to lift the royalty interest on the project, which sits in the Magadan Region and has produced over 4 million ounces of gold and 21 million ounces of silver since 1996. Maverix's royalty will now cover all 13 licenses (from two previously) that currently comprise the Omolon hub and potentially an additional three that are in the application phase.

Organic Garage (TSX-V:OG) Ltd announced that its subsidiary, plant-based food company Future of Cheese Inc, has launched the initial line of a variety of butter across selected retailers in Ontario, including all Organic Garage (TSX-V:OG) stores. The Toronto-based company is hoping that its Normandy-inspired, plant-based butter will be adopted by consumers of all dietary preferences and has the potential to substitute conventional dairy-based butter for the food services industry as a healthy, sustainable substitute. “This initial launch marks a significant milestone for the company,” said Craig Harding, culinary director of Future of Cheese in a statement. “We are extremely excited to introduce our plant-based butters to the market, and confident that retail consumers and foodservice customers alike will be blown away by how this product tastes and performs in the kitchen, comparable to the best of conventional dairy-based butter.”

The Toronto, Ontario-based innovative digital games studio said its existing hyper-casual gaming vector combined with the newly announced NFT market entry would position Royal Wins with “growth strategies in the two fastest growing segments within the online gaming space”. Golden Minerals Company (NYSE-A:AUMN, TSX:AUMN, ETR:7GB) has announced assay results from 25 recently completed reverse circulation (RC) drill holes at its Rodeo gold-silver mine in Mexico, which included 18 metres (m) grading 2.9 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 11 g/t silver. The company said it has drilled 47 RC holes totaling 3,187m, which focused on resource expansion and exploration of several targets located adjacent to the open pit.

AIM ImmunoTech Inc (NYSE:AIM) said it has submitted an Investigational New Drug application (IND) and an accompanying application for Fast Track status with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for a planned Phase 2 study of Ampligen as a therapy for locally advanced or metastatic late-stage pancreatic cancer. The company said the planned AMP-270 clinical trial of approximately 250 subjects will be a randomized, open-label, controlled, parallel-arm study with the primary objective of comparing the efficacy of Ampligen when added to SOC (standard of care) versus SOC alone for subjects with advanced pancreatic carcinoma recently treated with FOLFIRINOX chemotherapy regimen. Secondary objectives include comparing safety and tolerability. The AIM-sponsored study will be managed by Amarex Clinical Research and the Buffett Cancer Center at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Erasmus MC in The Netherlands are expected to be the primary study sites, although additional sites are anticipated, AIM added.

Standard Uranium (TSX-V:STND) Ltd announced it has signed a new engagement agreement with Ya’thi Néné Land and Resource Office, allowing it to further exploration work at the company’s Sun Dog project in Saskatchewan. The “milestone” agreement strengthens the uranium company’s relationships with First Nations and northern community stakeholders in the area, Standard Uranium (TSX-V:STND) noted. “Signing the engagement agreement with our First Nations and northern community representatives is a milestone event for our team at Standard Uranium (TSX-V:STND) and a step towards building strong relationships with local stakeholders,” CEO Jon Bey said in a statement.

Mandalay Resources Corp has unveiled a strong set of third-quarter operations metrics, which included the highest quarterly amount of gold equivalent ounces sold in four years and the highest quarterly saleable gold equivalent production from its Australia mine. In a statement, the group said that overall, across its two mines in Sweden and Australia, it generated 33,121 ounces of saleable gold-equivalent, which was the highest quarterly result since 4Q, 2017. Gold-equivalent ounces sold in the three months to September 30 this year totalled 28,752, the highest for four years, while Costerfield’s highest ever quarterly saleable gold equivalent production came in at 18,946 ounces.

Psyched Wellness (CSE:PSYC, OTCQB:PSYCF) Ltd announced that preliminary data on AME-1 — the company’s proprietary extract from Amanita muscaria mushrooms — revealed a potential new functional property and health benefit. Phunware, Inc. said it has formally closed the acquisition of privately-held Lyte Technology, Inc., a fast-growing provider of high-performance computer systems. The company financed the closing consideration of $3.32 million with cash-on-hand and unsecured, non-dilutive debt. Founded in 2018, Lyte is a profitable, rapidly-growing system integrator that specializes in marketing and distributing custom, high-end computer systems off-the-shelf with advanced graphic processing units for gaming, streaming and cryptocurrency mining. Currently located in Illinois, Lyte employs over 25 people and ships thousands of computer systems per quarter to a unique customer network that has largely grown through word-of-mouth. The total consideration for the acquisition consisted of cash and company common stock valued at up to approximately $10.98 million, a portion of which is characterized as an earn-out payment contingent upon Lyte generating at least $12.00 million in net revenues for the one-year period post-closing.

Victory Resources Corporation said it has filed its drill permit application for its Smokey lithium property in Esmeralda County, Nevada. Ahead of the filing, the company conducted extensive exploration and sampling throughout the summer in an effort to plan the drill zone at Smokey. The recently submitted application outlines a drill program with four holes, which the company plans to expand to 15 holes pending results and analysis.

FPX Nickel Corp (TSX-V:FPX) announced the discovery of high-grade nickel at the Van target in the Decar Nickel District in British Columbia. The intersection (21VAN-001 ) of 101 metres at a grade of 0.15% Davis tube recoverable (DTR) nickel is one of the top 10 highest-grading, near-surface intervals in the history of the district, according to FPX. Another hole intersected 103 metres at 0.14% DTR nickel.

Plurilock Security Inc. (TSX-V:PLUR), an identity-centric cybersecurity solutions provider, said that it has completed a SOC 2 assessment, successfully demonstrating it has effective controls in place for its cybersecurity solutions, business operations procedures, and tech infrastructure. SOC 2 is a compliance standard for service organizations, developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, which specifies how organizations should manage customer data. It is based on five trust services criteria: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. Before a company can undergo the SOC 2 audit, it needs to make another choice: a Type I, or comprehensive Type II audit.

New Pacific Metals (TSX:NUAG, NYSE:NEWP) Corp said it expects to advance its flagship Silver Sand project in Bolivia as a low-cost, open-pit heap leach operation following the results of latest metallurgical testing. The heap leach process showed 80% recovery and is a superior option due to the expected lower capital intensity and operational costs compared to alternatives to produce silver doré on site, said New Pacific. The material tested in the 2020- 2021 program was created from over 300 samples from four metallurgical holes. Three master composite samples were created with grades ranging from 90 grams per ton (g/t) to 120 g/t silver of oxide, transitional (oxide-sulphide) and sulphide (fresh) mineralization, together with six grade variability composites.

Heritage Cannabis Holdings Corp said it signed a joint venture sales and processing agreement with Noble Growth Corp, a cannabis cultivator focused on creating beneficial strains that contain sought-after cannabinoid, flavonoid, and terpene profiles for both recreational and medical usage. Under the deal, Heritage said Noble will produce some of its highly sought-after cultivars for it to strategically expand its presence in the premium dried flower markets across Canada under the RAD Reefer Reserve and Pura Vida Legacy brands. Noble currently houses more than 300 Pheno-hunted genetics in tissue culture boasting high tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and Terpene levels and rare genetics that customers are looking for, the company added.

SpotLite360 IOT Solutions (CSE:LITE) Inc. said it has appointed James Greenwell, its current president, as its new chief executive officer. The company said Eugene Beukman has resigned as its chief executive officer and director and thanked him for his services. SpotLite360 also announced that Dr Billy Joe Page has been appointed to its board of directors. The company noted that Dr Page is a hand surgery specialist in Castle Rock, Colorado. Gatling Exploration (TSX-V:GTR, OTCQB:GATGF) Inc. said it has arranged a private placement to raise gross proceeds of up to $2.5 million. The offering will consist of a combination of 5,882,352 common shares of the company issued on a flow-through basis (FT shares) at a price of $0.34 per FT Share; and 1,562,500 units of the company at a price of $0.32 per unit. Each unit will consist of one common share and one-half of one transferable share purchase warrant, each whole warrant exercisable into one additional common share at a price of $0.50 per share for a period of two years from the date of issue.

Adastra Holdings (CSE:XTRX) Ltd said that, further to its news release of October 15, 2021, it has completed its private placement financing, under which it issued 122,727 units at a price of $1.10 per unit for gross proceeds of $135,000. Each unit is composed of one common share of the company and one transferrable common share purchase warrant. each warrant will entitle the holder thereof to acquire one common share of the company at a price of $1.75 per warrant share until 5.00pm(Vancouver time) two years from the closing of the financing.
