Arizona Silver Exploration Inc has provided shareholders with the results of surface channel sampling completed on an undrilled 300-meter segment of the Philadelphia-Perry vein at its Philadelphia project in Arizona.
The area is known as the Gap and the company plans to commence a scheduled drill between November and December after the drill road access is complete.
The results from the channel samples were up to 6.57 grams per ton (g/t) gold across 2.44 meters (m) and 5.9 g/t gold across 1.2m.

For the results, 95 channel samples were taken in August across and along the vein, returning good gold values at several locations, including; 3.1 g/t gold across 3.3m of vein and 5.9 g/t across 1.2m.
Additionally, sampling returned 6.57 g/t gold across 2.44m of hanging wall volcanics between the company’s recently completed drill sections. A detailed summary of the sampling can be found on the company website.
“These results are particularly significant as this area represents a 300m-long drilling Gap between two recent drill sections that returned excellent results for us,” Greg Hahn, the company's vice president for exploration said in the statement.
He added: “Based on vein textures we expect the “boiling zone” to begin some 100 metres below surface. Within that zone, our emerging experience will be for us to intersect good grades both in the vein and the stockwork vein system adjacent to it.”
The precious metals developer’s Philadelphia property is considered a high-grade gold and silver vein target located in Mohave County, northwestern Arizona.
“Clearly, these results provide strong encouragement for our upcoming road construction and core drilling program both within the Gap and along strike to the north,” Hahn said.
“The opportunity to drill an untested 1500-metre-long extension of the vein system to the south remains open to us.”
