Braxia Scientific Corp said that its CEO Roger McIntyre will be joining former NBA superstar Lamar Odom and psychedelic pioneer Zappy Zapolin for a panel discussion on ketamine treatment at the Wonderland: Miami conference on November 9, 2021.
The two-day in-person event is scheduled to kick off on November 8, inviting multiple companies to connect with the psychedelic medicinal space, acting as a launching pad for attendees and encouraging collaborations.
In the panel titled, ‘Ketamine Treatment Goes Mainstream’, the three guests — McIntyre, Odom, and Zapolin — will be discussing various aspects of ketamine treatment for mental health issues.

McIntyre has been named as one of the world’s most influential scientific minds by Clarivate for seven consecutive years. He is a professor of Psychiatry and Pharmacology at the University of Toronto and holds professorships at universities in the US and Asia, including the University of California Riverside School of Medicine, State University of New York (SUNY), Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, Guangzhou Medical University, and the College of Medicine at Korea University.
"It will be an honour to share the stage and discuss the potential benefits of ketamine with Zappy and Lamar, who are superstars of the psychedelic and athletic fields, respectively," McIntyre said in a statement. "While we each arrived at this point from various avenues, we all have the same destination, and that is to drastically lower suicide rates and provide rapid, significant relief to those suffering from depression and other brain disorders."
The Canadian Rapid Treatment Center of Excellence — a Braxia-owned subsidiary that operates a network of ketamine clinics treating depression and other mental health disorders — is also founded by McIntyre.

Odom — a two-time National Basketball Association champion, Olympic gold medalist and third speaker on the ketamine panel — has been outspoken about the profound healing journey he experienced with psychedelic medicine. His experience was featured in "Lamar Odom Reborn", a documentary film showcasing his recovery following a very public overdose and near-death experience back in 2015.
Braxia is working on providing ketamine treatment to individuals suffering from mental health issues including depression and anxiety. Its community-based ketamine clinics are located in Mississauga, Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal.
