Heritage Cannabis Holdings Corp and its subsidiary Opticann have entered into an exclusive partnership with CARP (formerly known as the Canadian Association of Retired Persons), Canada’s largest advocacy association for aging Canadians.
As part of the agreement, CARP, ZoomerMedia (TSX-V:ZUM) Limited and Opticann will create tailored educational content for the more than 320,000 CARP members. The initiative will utilize affiliate ZoomerMedia’s TV, radio, print, and digital channels including VisionTV, The New Classical FM, Zoomer Radio, and Zoomer Magazine.

Opticann will carry the trusted and endorsed CARP recommended seal and CARP members will receive an exclusive 15% discount when they purchase any of the following Opticann CB4 medical cannabis products:

Patients wishing to use the CARP discount must register at Opticann.ca with a medical document to receive the offer.

The Canadian media mogul continued: “These new products especially play a role in displacing less-desirable drugs that may come with complications and side effects. As this new therapeutic industry blossoms in Canada, misleading information can be very detrimental to patients’ health and well-being, as is self-medication through the recreational system.”
Znaimer added that CARP had decided on Opticann after surveying the market carefully.

In conjunction with the partnership, Opticann-Heritage will pay ZoomerMedia cash, as well as a portion in Heritage equity at $0.10 per share over a 2-year period.
