Mike Houston, executive chairman of BlueRock Diamonds Plc (LON:BRD), talks Proactive London about their production jumping by 38% in the third quarter to a record.
He explains how the market for rough diamonds remains firm and with 7,682 carats produced, it has been another record quarter driven by what he says is the quality high-grade kimberlite being mined.
The firm sold 6,887 carats, up 81%, in the third quarter and reported a 68% surge in the average price per carat, helped by the discovery four high-value diamonds.
