Polarean Imaging PLC (AIM:POLX, OTC:PLLWF) has installed a 9820 Xenon Polariser system, its device to improve MRI images of lung functions, at BC Children's Hospital, Vancouver, which is a major paediatric research and teaching centre.
The hyperpolarisation system order was previously announced in May 2021, with the system being used to support BC Children's Hospital's research into paediatric pulmonary disease.
Richard Hullihen, Polarean’s chief executive, said: "We are pleased to complete the installation of an investigational 9820 Xenon Polariser system at BC Children's Hospital. We look forward to its use in research to expand the knowledge base in pulmonary disease areas."
Separately, Polarean announced share purchases by Hullihen and two other senior directors, chairman Johnathan Allis and non-exec Cyrille Petit.
Hullihen bought 153,000 shares at 47p apiece, while Alliss and Petit each both acquired 150,000 at 53p each.
