Brewin Dolphin scraps London office move after rise in home working

The wealth manager said more flexible working options for its staff meant its current office in Smithfield has the capacity to fulfil its needs

Brewin Dolphin (LSE:BRW) Holdings PLC dropped plans to relocate its London head office as a result of the increase in home working during the Coronavirus (COVID-19 pandemic.

The wealth manager had previously planned to move its head office in 2022 to a new site opposite St. Paul's Cathedral at 25 Cannon Street, London.

In a statement released yesterday, the company said more flexible working options for its staff meant its current office in Smithfield has the capacity to fulfil its needs and future growth.

The group said it has agreed terms with global law firm Dechert LLP to take floors three to five at 25 Cannon Street and is in discussions with other interested parties in respect of the remaining space.
