Futura Medical PLC (AIM:FUM) appointed consumer healthcare products veteran Jeff Needham to the board as a non-executive director.
The pharmaceutical company said Needham brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the board having been at Perrigo Company (NYSE:PRGO) PLC, the US-based manufacturer and marketer of consumer healthcare products, for 36 years, and a board director of the Consumer Healthcare Products Association for 12 years.
While at Perrigo, Needham was responsible for the consumer self-care businesses in the Americas. His focus was on the development and long-term strategic direction of the business, including marketing, sales, new product pipeline development, business development and scientific affairs.
