One World Lithium brings on technology metals pioneer Jack Lifton as consultant

Lifton coined the now widely-used term 'technology metals' to describe those metals whose electronic properties enable the miniaturization of electronic technologies

One World Lithium Inc announced it has brought on technology metals expert Jack Lifton as a consultant to assist the company with its strategy to become a lithium producer and green technology provider.

The lithium company struck an agreement with Lifton’s consulting company Jack Lifton LLC for a one-year period.

Lifton began his career as a chemist specializing in ultrapurification of rare metals and their chemical compounds and alloys for use in solid state electronic and energy storage.

Lifton also served as CEO for two large firms that specialized in chemical manufacturing as well as the second firm also specializing in chemical manufacturing. Following his retirement, he became a sector analyst specializing in rare metals mining, refining and fabrication for end-users.

He coined the now widely-used term “technology metals” to describe those metals whose electronic properties enable the miniaturization of electronic technologies.

Under the terms of the agreement, Lifton will be paid a monthly fee of US$3,000 and will have an option to purchase up to 1 million shares of OWL at an exercise price $0.065 per share, vesting from time to time.

“Our company is looking forward to Jack’s advice as it will advance both our mineral exploration programs and create real credibility for its potential extraction technology,” OWL CEO Doug Fulcher told shareholders in a statement.

OWL is advancing its Salar del Diablo lithium brine project, a 103,450-hectare property in the State of Baja California, Mexico. OWL currently owns a 60% property interest and on completion of the program, it will have earned an additional 20% property interest and has an option to purchase a further 10% for a 90% property interest.
