Evergold Corp (TSX-V:EVER, OTC:EVGUF) has updated investors on its exploration, saying its drill program at the C Zone, Pyramid Peak at the Snoball property in British Columbia has now been completed and that it was expecting assays from drilling at the Golden Lion property in the near term.
Due to the early onset of winter, the drill program at Snoball has now wrapped up for 400 meters (m) in four shallow holes, which was less than the 2,000m originally targeted, the company noted.
The new intercepts include quartz veining with associated pyrrhotite, pyrite, arsenopyrite and chalcopyrite. Assays are expected in mid-December this year.
At Golden Lion, the company reported in August this year, the discovery of strongly mineralized intercepts at the GL1 Main Zone, designed to test for a potential strengthening of the epithermal system below the shallow drilling carried out by Evergold in 2020.

ALS Global, the company's analytical services provider, now projects delivery of all assays by the end of the first week in November, it added.
Evergold and its contractors faced significant labor shortages and weather challenges in the field this year, said Kevin Keough, CEO of Evergold.
"We are excited by what we’ve seen in select core. We continue to patiently await receipt of the assay results which will tell the story for both Snoball and Golden Lion."
Evergold's flagship assets consist of the Golden Lion property, the Snoball property, and the past-producing high-grade Rockland gold-silver property in Nevada, USA.
The company believes all three host zones of precious metals offer considerable upside.
