SRJ Technologies Group PLC (ASX:SRJ) has been awarded a contract by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) to design, manufacture and install pipeline asset integrity solutions for pipeline/flange/valve systems on Das Island.
This is Phase 1 of a ‘Fast Track’ project with ANDOC and mark’s SRJ’s first order in the UAE, which will deliver the company $160,000 in revenue.
Phase 1 of the contract will see SRJ deliver engineering and design solutions, while Phase 2, which is set to begin in November, will include manufacturing and installation services which are expected to be completed by the end of December.
SRJ takes an integrity-first approach
The project will enable ANDOC the use of adjoining facilities by eliminating the risk of gas leaks.
Phase 1 of the project covers the site survey and design engineering.
Phase 2 comprises the manufacture and installation of approximately 25-30 of SRJ’s pipeline/flange/valve leak mitigation systems.
SRJ provides specialised engineering services and containment management solutions via a range of industry accredited products, designed to maintain and assure the integrity of pressure containment systems and play an important role in the overall integrity of operating facilities.
These products and services are designed to give its customers peace of mind that enhanced risk management practices are in play, while minimising loss of containment.
Second purchase order to come
An additional purchase order from ANDOC is anticipated for phase 2.
While the second phase is yet to be quantified, it is expected to be higher than the $160,000 for the first phase of the project.
