Empower Clinics CEO Steven McAuley joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share details the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary MediSure Canada has entered into a Pilot Agreement with Care Group of Pharmacies to carry MediSure diabetes management medical devices in their pharmacies.
McAuley telling Proactive, this program will provide diabetes management solutions to Care Group through their independent pharmacy platform for resale and distribution to their Independent Pharmacy Partners. This will be a six-month pilot program to evaluate costs and revenue opportunities to best determine how this program will proceed in the future. Diabetes numbers are rising with 1 in 4 Canadians suffer from pre-diabetes or type I and type II diabetes.
