Cardano meets music as DJ Paul Oakenfold to launch tokenised album

It’s part of NFT project ‘Starship Universe’, launched by music entrepreneur Alon Shulman

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has partnered with EDM powerhouse DJ Paul Oakenfold to launch a tokenised album on the Cardano platform.

The three-time Grammy Award and two-time World Music Awards nominee, unveiled ‘Zombie Lobster’, his upcoming album, during the Cardano summit earlier this week.

Every part of the album will be tokenised on the platform’s blockchain, including cover art, tracks, sleeve notes and remixes.Cointelegraph reported

It’s part of NFT project ‘Starship Universe’, launched by music entrepreneur Alon Shulman, who manages other major DJs including Carl Cox.

Starship Universe has teamed up with Cardano to release thousands of NFTs on its blockchain. Release dates are yet to be announced.

Cardano was changing hands for US$2.14 on Friday morning.
