Live Company Group PLC (AIM:LVCG) will install its BRICKLIVE ‘March of the Penguins’ display in the centre of Eastleigh in Hampshire as part of a new contract.
The AIM-listed plastic bricklayer said it was the first contract signed with Eastleigh Business Improvement District (BID), which arranged for the penguins to be installed on 19 November ahead of its Christmas light switching on event on Saturday 20 November.
The March of the Penguins exhibit consists of 19 models of Rockhopper penguins, measuring 45 cm, and one Emperor penguin, 1.2 metres tall.
As Rockhoppers are among the smaller species of penguin, these models are ideal for Christmas shop windows, Live Company said.
Chairman David Ciclitira added: “It is clear that our UK high streets and town centres suffered during the pandemic and the BIDS are working very hard to bring back customers and visitors to our town centres. We are delighted to partner with them on this important initiative.”
