PharmaDrug Inc. chairman and CEO Daniel Cohen joined Proactive's Stephen Gunnion with news that the specialty pharmaceutical company has been granted a Pre-Investigational New Drug (pre-IND) meeting with the US Food and Drug Administration for the clinical development of its patented enteric-coated formulation of cepharanthine (PD-001).
Cohen telling Proactive that feedback from the FDA will provide the company with critical information relevant to definitive its parallel development paths for its cepharanthine programs in both coronavirus (COVID-19) and rare cancers.
