KWESST (TSX-V:KWE, OTCQB:KWEMF) Micro Systems Inc said it has engaged Stryk Group USA as the company's strategic partner for commercialization of KWESST (TSX-V:KWE, OTCQB:KWEMF)'s Low Energy Cartridge (LEC) non-lethal products in the US.
Stryk Group will provide KWESST (TSX-V:KWE, OTCQB:KWEMF) with expert advice on market positioning and branding, along with the development of a website with social media and e-commerce modules, which is expected to accelerate the product’s time to market and increase sales.
“This is a crucial step in our roadmap to bring LEC products to market in the US, with an official hard launch at the SHOT Show in Las Vegas, January 18-21, 2022,” KWESST Micro Systems executive chairman David Luxton said in a statement.

“Like others in the industry, we are well acquainted with the standout capabilities of the team at Stryk Group to build major brands in the shooting and outdoor trade,” Luxton added.
The company said the partnership is also expected to leverage Stryk Group's proprietary data bases and sophisticated digital platforms for highly targeted promotion to qualified audiences at scale, augmented by strategic physical sales channel development, plus order taking and fulfillment across the US.
KWESST noted that its proprietary LEC technology solves the twin problems of high-energy ‘less lethal’ cartridge-based munitions that can sometimes be lethal, and the problem of air-powered alternatives that lack the reliability of a cartridge-based system.
KWESST Micro Systems has a diversified product line stemming from a single core technology — its proprietary Micro Integrated Sensor Systems Technology (MISST) — which involves ultra-miniaturization and integration of sensors, software, optics, ballistics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence (AI) that boosts mission capability.
