Bradda Head Lithium Ltd (AIM:BHL) has returned assay results with intercepts of over 2,000 parts per million lithium from its third twinned hole at its Burro Creek East project.
Hole BCE21-03 discovered previously unknown, but anticipated, lithium mineralisation within the Lower Clay zone at Burro Creek East and highlights again that there is significant potential for an increase in the resource as a consequence.
The highest grade recorded in the Upper Clay zone was 2,150 ppm lithium over 0.6 metres.
The highest grade recorded in the Lower Clay zone was 1,910 ppm lithium over 1.1 metres.
"These positive drilling results are some of the highest grades identified to date at Burro Creek East,” said Bradda Head chief executive Charles FitzRoy.
“They not only provide further confidence to our geological model, but we believe, also add value and the potential to add further resources to our previously reported numbers of 185,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent.”
Bradda is conducting a 10-hole programme at Burro Creek East, consisting of new holes and twinned holes designed to test the 2018 reverse circulation drill programme that suffered poor recoveries and was used to estimate the Burro Creek East inferred resource in 2018.
