Infield Minerals starts 2,000 metre drilling program at the North Zone on its M1 property in Nevada

CEO Evandra Nakano told shareholders that she is “extremely pleased” to see drilling underway at the project

Infield Minerals Corp announced that it has started drilling at the North Zone of its M1 gold-silver property in White Pine County, Nevada.

The Vancouver-based resource company is expecting to drill approximately 2,000 metres of reverse circulation drilling across seven holes, ranging in depth from 150 to 400 metres.

CEO Evandra Nakano told shareholders that she is “extremely pleased” to see drilling underway at the project following a recent visit to the property during the mobilization stage.

"We are excited to advance Infield's testing of these high priority targets and to determine whether near surface mineralization extends at depth across the interpreted structures and geophysical signatures,” Nakano said in a statement.

The M1 property is located approximately 75 kilometres north of the city of Ely.

Gold and silver mineralization at M1 is associated with silicified breccia zones along and proximal to regional and local fault structures, according to Infield.

The firm entered into a property option agreement in June 2020 to acquire 100% interest in M1 over a three-year term.
