Algernon Pharmaceuticals CEO Christopher Moreau joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has plans to file a pre-IND meeting request with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for an Ifenprodil Phase 2 chronic cough study.
Moreau telling Proactive, they have decided to expand research-based on positive trending interim data from the chronic cough part of its 20-patient study being conducted in Australia and New Zealand.
Moreau also told Proactive, the company has filed another pre-IND meeting request with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for its investigation of Ifenprodil for the treatment of small-cell lung cancer.
