Kromek Group PLC (AIM:KMK, FRA:4KM) (LON:KMK) CEO Arnab Basu joins Proactive London's Katie Pilbeam after receiving a $1.6mln contract for its D3S-ID wearable nuclear radiation detector.
The firm will supply a US federal entity with its product 'the fastest in the market, designed with security forces in mind'.
He describes this area of the market as 'very active' with spending all around the world increasing, with the UK government allocating £350m over the next four years in this area.
He says with global defence and security spend on the rise around the world in response to volatile international relations, they expect to receive further orders for our nuclear security products.
