Bam Bam Resources says its Majuba Hill copper project has over 1 billion ton potential

Drilling in late 2020 hit viable mineralization, said Bam Bam, and suggested the property hosted a "deep-seated sulfide deposit" underneath a "viable oxide cap"

Bam Bam Resources (CSE:BBR) Corp told investors it was fully funded for its 2021 exploration program, including some drilling next year, as it continues to develop the potential of its flagship Majuba Hill copper project in Nevada, USA.

In a corporate update, the company noted it had now expanded its footprint at the potential district-scale project it bought in 2019 (along with a mountain of historic data) by more than 300% to 15.1 square miles or 39.2 square kilometres (sq km).

Drilling in late 2020 hit viable mineralization, said Bam Bam, and suggested the property hosted a "deep-seated sulfide deposit" underneath a "viable oxide cap".

The focus is now on extending the tonnage of the oxide cap and drilling deep holes to continue to define the boundaries of the sulfide deposit, it added.

"All of the work completed to date led the company to realize that Majuba Hill is a much more significant porphyry copper deposit than had previously been recognized," the company said.

"When Bam Bam commenced work on Majuba Hill, a 500 million ton potential was expected. The results now suggest that it is a district with over 1 billion ton potential. The ability to integrate a large amount of historic data and expand the potential of the copper mineralization has been very timely since the demand for copper is sky-rocketing," it added.

A soil sampling program started in June this year laid out to expand the large copper, silver, zinc, molybdenum, and gold anomalies outlined from earlier work. The sampling was completed in July and all assay results are expected by the end of September this year, added Bam Bam.
