Binovi Technologies Corp has announced the appointment of Marc Lakmaaker as its new interim CEO and member of the company’s board of directors, replacing former interim CEO Tania Archer, who has resigned effective immediately to pursue other endeavors.
The company said Lakmaaker has more than 20 years of executive experience, including in financial and corporate communications, corporate finance, marketing and company management in North America, Europe, and Asia.
“With increased interest in the company's solutions from a wide variety of industry verticals, including high-performance athletes, education and visual therapists, we are in a good position to capitalize on this momentum,” Binovi Technologies interim CEO Marc Lakmaaker said in a statement.

“My immediate focus will be on housekeeping, including recapitalizing the company so we can progress with our internal reorganization, as well as execute on our growing commercial pipeline,” Lakmaaker added.
Binovi Technologies chairman Terry Booth also commented, stating: “Marc is a capital markets savvy executive with deep experience in corporate and commercial development, communications and capital markets, a mix of capabilities that matches the needs for this position at this stage in the development of the company.”
Additionally, Binovi noted that Salim Mithani has resigned as the company’s chief technical officer and as a board member.
Binovi Technologies is all about using technology to enhance human performance, employing its neuro-visual performance platform to test, analyze, track, and report on individual cognitive results. The company’s platform is currently used in over 1,500 locations in more than 20 countries.
