Ethernity Networks Ltd (AIM:ENET, FRA:82N) told investors about a successful customer trial of its UEP-20 (universal edge processing) product which is equipped with wireless bonding technology.
A global OEM customer conducted the trials with a US-based internet service provider and the products passed.
Bonding was successfully performed on a variety of products from multiple vendors, indicating the ability of the solution's interoperability and flexibility, the company noted.
Ethernity added that it expects the success will lead to orders in excess of 1,000 units for the product, with shipments anticipated to start in the fourth quarter.
The company, meanwhile, is set to showcase the technology at an upcoming industry event (WISPApalooza 2021, in Las Vegas) during mid-October.
