The S&P/ASX 200 has made up some of its morning losses to currently be down about 0.5% at time of writing, after falling as much as 0.8%.
Bottom performing stocks on the ASX 200 are AGL Energy (ASX:AGK) Limited down 6.65% and Blackmores Limited (ASX:BKL), down 4.95%
The index has lost 1.56% for the last five days but sits 3.12% below its 52-week high.
Other stocks doing it tough include BHP down 2.5% to a 9-month low of $40.67 and Rio Tinto down 1.6% to a 9-month low of $104.86. Westpac fell 1% to a 3-week low of $25.47 while Santos dived 2.8% to $6.30.
On the small cap front
It’s been quieter on the small cap front today. However, a few notable performances include Octanex Limited up 108.33%, Mindax Limited (ASX:MDX) up 44.68% and Rewardle Holdings (ASX:RXH) Limited up 30.77%.
9 Spokes International Ltd is up 11.54% after launching 9Spokes Open, which is transforming the company’s platform to an open data platform and empowering businesses and financial institutions to leverage data in new ways.
Poseidon Nickel Ltd (ASX:POS, OTC:PSDNF, FRA:NYG1) is up 4.35% after announcing it has enhanced the Black Swan Project in Western Australia by way of a maiden resource estimate for the Silver Swan Tailings (SST) of 6,200 tonnes of nickel and 460 tonnes of cobalt.
