GGX Gold Corp initiates bulk sample permit on the COD Vein at its flagship Gold Drop property

The COD vein has been explored over the last several field seasons with 155 surface drill holes totalling 10,292m completed from 2017 to 2020, in addition to trenches completed in 2017 and 2020

GGX Gold Corp said that a technical team has started the permitting process for a bulk sample on the COD vein at its Gold Drop property in the historic Greenwood Mining Camp in British Columbia.

The company said the bulk sample program at the vein will provide further information on the metallurgy, recovery, and processing methods. The technical team is evaluating the resource potential at the vein as well as processing sites for the bulk sample.

“We continue to focus on unlocking value at the Gold Drop property,” CEO Barry Brown said in a statement.

“The potential of a bulk sample at the COD vein will provide invaluable information to our team as we continue to advance the project,” he added.

GGX Gold said the COD vein has been explored over the last several field seasons with 155 surface drill holes totalling 10,292 metres completed from 2017 to 2020 in addition to trenches completed in 2017 and 2020.

The company said it intersected 129 grams per ton (g/t) gold and 1,154 g/t silver over 7.28m at the vein. The high-grade quartz vein intersection is near-surface at 18m to 23m vertical depth.

The majority of the drill holes intersected the COD vein within 80m of surface, providing opportunities to delineate mineralization at depth, the company said.
