Frontier IP on the rise as portfolio company Exscientia mulls initial public offering

Exscientia's registration statement relating to the share securities has been filed with the SEC but has not yet become effective

Frontier IP Group PLC (AIM:FIPP) saw its shares rise as it noted plans by one of its portfolio companies to float in the US.

Exscientia has filed a registration statement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission relating to a possible initial public offering (IPO).

Frontier IP, which looks to build and grow a portfolio of equity stakes and licence income by taking an active involvement in spin-out companies, noted there is no guarantee that an IPO will take place.

Shares in Frontier were up 1.9% at 106.5p in early deals.
