Elementos director increases stake through early exercise of options

Elementos is focusing primarily on the Oropesa Tin Project in Spain, which was acquired in January 2020 and is regarded as one of the world’s largest undeveloped, open-cut mineable tin deposits.

Elementos Ltd (ASX:ELT, OTC:ELTLF) non-executive director Brett Smith has increased his interest in the company through the early exercise of unlisted options.

500,000 options, which were due to expire on April 30, 2022, were exercised at 1.5 cents each on September 13, 2021.

Smith now holds about 4 million Elementos shares.

Strong tin intersections

Elementos continues to intersect new zones of near-surface tin mineralisation from diamond drilling at its flagship Oropesa Tin Project in Spain.

New assay results from three drill holes confirm the thickness of mineralisation to a depth of about 190 metres below the surface, with strong intersections including:

  • 30.6 metres at 0.22% tin from 22.2 metres;
  • 19.5 metres at 0.18% from 70.3 metres;
  • 32.3 metres at 0.20% from 161.7 metres; and
  • 15.8 metres at 0.44% from 108.4 metres.
