Landore Resources Ltd (AIM:LND) said drilling continued to intercept gold mineralisation below the BAM East defined pit of the BAM deposit in Canada and that there had been multiple sightings of visible gold in the drill core.
Drill hole 0421-809 intersected 15.0 metres at 2.48 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, including 1.0 metre at 22.60g/t and 1.0 metre at 11.35g/t.
The drilling programme, on the BAM gold deposit and immediate exploration to the east and west, concluded on 1 August.
Drilling will resume in mid-October at the highly prospective Felix area along strike and to the west of the BAM deposit, the company said.
A mineral resource estimate and preliminary economic assessment update on the BAM gold deposit is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of this year.
