Coinsilium Group Ltd (AQSE:COIN, OTCQB:CINGF) appointed blockchain and cryptocurrency expert Wayne Almeida as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
After working in the trust and corporate services sector in Gibraltar, Almeida joined the Fiduciary Group in 2014. After being made a director in 2017 he formed and led the group's blockchain and cryptocurrency department.
This department provides trust, company secretarial and directorship services to client companies in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.
Coinsilium said Almeida also provides advice and guidance to boards of directors, advising on a wide spectrum of matters with particular focus on corporate governance and regulation.
He is also a member of the board of IOV Labs Limited, parent company of RSK, which is the first smart contract platform secured by the Bitcoin network, and RSK Infrastructure Framework (RIF).
Wayne will be stepping down as director of Fiduciary Group in order to join Gobalsky Labs Limited (Vega protocol) as COO.
He will continue his role as executive director of Gobalsky Labs Limited, a position he has held since August 2019
