Twenty Seven Co Ltd (ASX:TSC) has appointed experienced finance industry and capital markets executive Rohan Dalziell as non-executive chairman, effective September 9, 2021.
This follows the retirement of Rob Scott which takes effect today.
Dalziell is currently working as a wealth adviser and representative of Canaccord Genuity (TSX:CF, LSE:CF) in Perth.
Before joining Canaccord in 2017, he has spent 24 years in Hong Kong working for global investment banks as an investment analyst, head of research and in various other senior management positions.
According to Twenty Seven Co, Dalziell’s experience in the financial services industry combined with a deep understanding of capital markets and junior exploration companies will be invaluable to the company as it continues to explore its existing WA and NSW portfolio.
The company also believes Dalziell’s experience in finance-related matters could also help it identifying and evaluating other growth opportunities that may arise.
“Expertise has been invaluable”
Commenting on Scott’s departure, Dalziell said: “Rob’s experience and expertise have been invaluable to TSC as it has built a portfolio of exploration assets across WA and NSW.
“His tenure as chairman has ushered in a new and exciting growth phase for shareholders and he leaves the company well-funded and well-positioned for exploration success.
“The board would like to thank Rob for his leadership as chairman and wish him well in his future endeavours.”
Dalziell has completed a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Western Australia and is an Australian Certified Practising Accountant with a Professional Diploma in Stockbroking.
