PyroGenesis Canada Inc has now received $630,000 in additional funding from a second government agency. All told, the company said it has received about $5.3 million, including the sale of intellectual property (IP) of $3.3 million. As previously disclosed, PyroGenesis, in partnership with HPQ Silica Polvere Inc (HPQ Polvere), a wholly-owned subsidiary of HPQ Silicon Resources Inc (HPQ), has been tasked to design, develop and manufacture downstream business opportunities by converting quartz to fumed silica, using a novel one-step plasma-based reactor. This process is designed to enable the reduction of hazardous waste and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions when compared to legacy processes.

Canada Silver Cobalt Works Inc. (TSX-V:CCW)said it has filed a final short form base shelf prospectus with, and received a receipt from, the securities regulators in each province of Canada. As previously announced, the base shelf prospectus will allow the company and/or selling security holders to effect offerings of common shares (including by way of an “at-the-market distribution” in accordance with applicable securities laws), preference shares, subscription receipts, warrants, debt securities, units or any combination thereof up to a maximum amount of $30 million during the 25-month period in which the base shelf prospectus is effective. Should the company and/or selling security holders decide to offer securities during the 25-month effective period, the specific terms, including the use of proceeds from any offering, will be set out in a prospectus supplement to the base shelf prospectus, which will be filed with the applicable Canadian securities regulatory authorities.

Trust Stamp Inc (OTCQX:IDAID). has announced that the US Patent and Trademark Office has awarded the company two new patents, Patent No. US11095631 for 'Systems and Methods for Identity Verification Via Third Party Accounts', and Patent No. US11093771 for 'Systems and Methods for Liveness-Verified, Biometric-Based Encryption'. The company said both patents strengthen its competitive position in the identity verification and authentication space, with four issued, and nine provisional and pending patents now. Adyton Resources (TSX-V:ADY, OTCQB:ADYRF) Corporation has reported initial drill results from the company’s 100% owned Wapolu deposit on Fergusson Island in Papua New Guinea, which included 26 metres of 1.79 grams per tonne (g/t) gold. Adyton said the maiden drill program’s objective is to confirm results of previous drilling carried out in the 1990s by twinning previously drilled holes, test continuity and confidence of the mineralised zone, and to provide samples for a preliminary metallurgical testing program. “The Wapolu drilling results continues the recent success achieved at Gameta. Adyton owns 100% of three deposits on Fergusson Island and it is clear the project has production scalability,” Adyton Resources (TSX-V:ADY, OTCQB:ADYRF) CEO Frank Terranova said in a statement.

Co-Diagnostics (NASDAQ:CODX) Inc. has reported that its Logix Smart COVID-19 Test Kit was used by Italian researchers to confirm the presence of SARS-CoV-2, including mutated strains of the virus. The company said researchers were able to identify the virus in a community surveillance method by testing single-use waste. Moreover, the peer-reviewed results were published in the journal Science of the Total Environment.

Golden Tag Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:GOG, OTCQB:GTAGF) revealed that it made two new discoveries by drilling silver-zinc-lead-gold mineralization, starting right from surface and well above the planned drill-hole target area in its flagship San Diego project, in Durango Mexico. The Toronto based mineral resource exploration company said that starting at around 30 meters (m) below surface, well before the target area, Hole 21-57 intersected 75.89 grams per tonne (g/t) silver equivalent (Ag.Eq) over 273.65m, highlighting the opportunity for potential open pit mineralization directly above the Fernandez Zone. Golden Tag added that Hole 21-57 intersected the 1849 Target area, located between historic hole 12-49 (184.34 g/t Ag.Eq over 42.03m) and hole 07-18 (89.77 g/t Ag.Eq over 101.11 ), returning 116.76 g/t Ag.Eq over 66.04m, within a broader interval of 91.86 g/t Ag.Eq over 134.37m.

Adastra Holdings (CSE:XTRX, FRA:D2EA) Ltd. CEO Michael Forbes says the company is restructuring operations to become leaner and more cost-efficient. In a letter to shareholders, Forbes said the restructuring will allow the company to reduce its monthly expenses by $70,000 in the second quarter of 2021, compared to the fourth quarter of 2020, while simultaneously increasing production output. “Having done so, Adastra can now focus more on the following key growth sectors, which we anticipate will create far more value for our shareholders,” Forbes said. “Over the coming months, Adastra intends to aggressively pursue opportunities with carefully selected partners in strategic locations around the globe.”

Gold Resource Corporation (NYSE-A:GORO, ETR:GIH, FRA:GIH) revealed that it has signed a binding letter of agreement with Aquila Resources Inc (TSX:AQA). setting out the key terms of a proposed acquisition of all the issued and outstanding common shares of Aquila by way of a plan of arrangement under the Business Corporations Act, Ontario. Following the transaction, Colorado-based Gold Resource said it will acquire the Aquila shares for 0.0399 of a GORO share per Aquila share. Based on the 20-day volume-weighted average price (VWAP) of GORO's shares on the NYSE American stock exchange on September 3, 2021, the exchange ratio represents a 29% premium to the 20-day VWAP of Aquila's shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange. “The exchange ratio represents consideration of C$0.09 per Aquila share, reflecting a premium of 12.5%, based upon the closing prices of the Aquila shares and the GORO shares on September 3, 2021,” said the company. The per share price implies an aggregate acquisition price for 100% of the outstanding Aquila shares of approximately C$30.9 million, it added.

Logiq Inc. said it has partnered with IRIS.TV, the leading video data platform, to utilize IRIS_ID, a unique global identifier assigned to individual videos, to provide greater transparency and performance in streaming video for e-commerce marketers. The company said the partnership enables contextual and brand-safe connected-TV (CTV) targeting for e-commerce marketing programs, as CTV continues to be one of the fastest-growing advertising platforms. Connected TV refers to premium content streaming through apps, either on a smart TV or through an over-the-top device. In a statement, Manny Puentes, president, Logiq Digital Marketing said: “We have made significant investments into the Logiq Digital Marketing platform’s ability to efficiently and economically help brands advertise on valuable streaming video and connected TV content. Amarillo Gold Corporation (TSX-V:AGC, OTCQB:AGCBF, FRA:72A) has announced results from 15 new drill holes on its Mara Rosa property in Goiás State, Brazil, including a new primary gold deposit. The company said Pastinho is no longer a drill target but a full-fledged satellite deposit. Located 3.5 kilometres (km) northeast of Amarillo’s flagship Posse Gold Deposit, the Pastinho Deposit is a near-surface tabular-shaped deposit striking 1,700 metres (m) in a northeast-southwest direction that dips approximately 60 degrees northwest. Amarillo said it is expanding its overall diamond drill program at Mara Rosa by 3,000m to follow up on the gold mineralization at Pastinho, which remains open along strike and down dip.

Kenorland Minerals Ltd (TSX-V:KLD). has provided an update on its 2021 exploration activities covering multiple projects located across North America. Francis MacDonald, Kenorland’s executive vice president of exploration, noted that the current program is shaping up to be its largest yet in terms of both sole-funded and partner-funded budgets. “There is over C$17 million of exploration happening across our portfolio, with the majority of that spend going towards drill programs at the Frotet Project, in Quebec, which is currently under JV with Sumitomo Metal Mining, as well as the Healy Project, in Alaska, which we have optioned from Newmont Corporation, with the balance advancing our 'pipeline' of greenfield projects, located in Quebec and Ontario,” MacDonald said in a statement.

Karora Resources Inc has told investors that the Larkin zone at the Beta Hunt mine has been extended to over 1 kilometre and that a maiden resource will be included in the 2021 group resource update, which is expected early next year, as the company updated on exploration at the Australian project. Infill and step-out holes have extended the new Larkin zone, which was only discovered a year ago, with assays including 9.4 grams per ton (g/t) gold over 11 metres (m) in one hole and 20.5 g/t over 3.5m in another, said the miner. "This rapid strike and depth expansion follows the drilling success reported earlier this year which previously extended Larkin over a strike of 650 metres and up to 120 metres down dip. Importantly, the Larkin zone remains open for further extension both along strike and at depth," said Paul Huet, CEO of Karora. "Overall, drilling results at Beta Hunt continue to deliver robust, continuous extensions to our major mineralized shear zones which positions us well for our 2021 Reserve and Resource update."

AIM ImmunoTech Inc (NYSE:AIM). said it has submitted a pre-Investigational New Drug (Pre-IND) application to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for a Phase 2 clinical study of Ampligen as a potential infusion therapy for post-coronavirus (COVID-19) Cognitive Dysfunction (PCCD). The company said this will be a two-arm, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Ampligen in patients experiencing PCCD. Eighty subjects will be randomized 1:1 to receive twice-weekly infusions of Ampligen or placebo for a period of 12 weeks. Amarex Clinical Research, an NSF International company, is managing the FDA submission and will manage the clinical trial. In a statement, AIM InnumoTech CEO Thomas K. Equels said: “This preliminary IND filing is not only a major milestone for the company, but also an important step forward for those individuals suffering from the debilitating long-term effects of COVID-19, including PCCD. We are highly encouraged by the outlook for this trial based on the safety data we have amassed around Ampligen, combined with initial data suggesting that Ampligen may improve cognitive function among patients with PCCD. We look forward to reporting additional near-term milestones, as we advance Ampligen as a potential COVID-19 therapy.”

Global Energy Metals Corp (TSX-V:GEMC) said its partner Metal Bank Limited has released assays from the first two drill holes at the Millennium copper, cobalt and gold project in Queensland, Australia, which included 16 metres (m) of 1.1% copper, 0.3% cobalt, and 0.4 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 80m depth. Global Energy Metals noted that drilling was focused on resource validation work in the southern part of the Millennium project area and on assessing whether the mineralised system continues in the Northern Extension Area.

Canada Silver Cobalt Works Inc. (TSX-V:CCW) said it has successfully commissioned the secondary crushing and screening circuit at its fully owned Temiskaming Testing Labs (TTL) bulk processing facility located in Cobalt, Ontario using low-grade waste rock. In a statement, Frank J. Basa, Canada Silver Cobalt Work chief executive officer said: “The company is now positioned to process mine development rock to recover native silver and produce feed to a planned pilot plant gravity circuit to produce marketable concentrates for evaluation as part of a PEA (preliminary economic assessment). "The Company plans to use the secondary crushing and screening circuit during the exploration stage of mine development for metallurgical accounting and grade control by means of a bulk sample to be taken from the proposed planned ramp at the Castle East Robinson Zone. The data and information gathered during the processing of the mine rock may be used to develop a mill process flowsheet."

Sigma Lithium Corporation has announced the appointments of Ana Cabral and Calvyn Gardner as co-chief executive officers (co-CEOs) and Felipe Peres as its chief financial officer (CFO) as well as the constitution of an ESG Committee of its board of directors resulting from the program intended to achieve Net Zero emissions by 2024. The company noted that has Cabral has been elevated from her current role as chief strategy officer to her new role of co-CEO with Calvyn Gardner. Royal Wins Corporation (CSE:SKLL) said it has completed a purchase and sale agreement to acquire Antics Gaming LLC of Las Vegas, Nevada. The company said the acquisition is a significant building block in its global development strategy, marking its first direct foray into the United States. The addition of Antics and its popular Winning With Words game, further establishes the company's ongoing working relationship with Samsung, Apple and Skillz Inc, it added. Under the terms of the agreement, Royal Wins will acquire current and future assets of games developed by Antics including the popular hyper-casual game Winning with Words for cash consideration of US$75,786.98 and 298,048 common shares of the company priced at C$0.21/share and totaling US$50,000.

GR Silver Mining (TSX-V:GRSL) Ltd. hailed the high-grade results of exploration at its asset in Mexico, which supports the idea that there is a large district-scale vein and breccia system at the GAP zone between the San Marcial and San Juan areas. Following its acquisition of the GAP area concession in March this year, the company now controls 7km of structural trend between San Marcial and San Juan and it has now discovered gold and silver rich veins at GAP. Highlights from channel sampling includes 0.30 metres (m) at a grade of 10.72 grams per ton (g/t) gold and 251 g/t silver, while rock chip sampling uncovered 1.60 g/t gold with 440 g/t silver.

RedHill Biopharma (NASDAQ:RDHL) Ltd. has announced the results of a new preclinical study with its oral pill drug candidate opaganib (ABC294640), demonstrating its efficacy in significantly decreasing renal fibrosis in a unilateral ureteral obstruction-induced renal interstitial fibrosis model. The company noted reports suggest that over 20% of hospitalized coronavirus (COVID-19) patients experience acute renal failure. Kidney fibrosis generally leads to loss of tissue function and subsequent organ failure, with a high mortality rate. The company further noted that its global 475-patient Phase 2/3 clinical trial with opaganib in hospitalized COVID19 patients has completed treatment and follow up phase, with top-line results upcoming New therapeutic small molecules to modulate fibrosis are urgently needed. The aim of the in vivo efficacy study was to verify the effect of opaganib on kidney inflammation and fibrosis in a unilateral ureteral obstruction (UUO) model – a well-characterized model for renal fibrosis. Results from the study showed that opaganib significantly decreased renal fibrosis.

Gatling Exploration (TSX-V:GTR, OTCQB:GATGF) Inc reported initial metallurgical test results from its Larder gold project in Ontario, showing overall gold recovery rates of 91.9% for the Bear deposit. Larder, which spans 3,370 hectares, lies in the prolific Abitibi greenstone belt and hosts three high-grade gold deposits called Fernland, Cheminis and Bear, which are connected over a 4.5-kilometer strike length. Three 30-35kg composite samples were selected from material from multiple holes in each deposit.

Viscount Mining Corp (TSX-V:VML, OTCQB:VLMGF). has announced that the 2021 work program on the 100%-controlled Cherry Creek Project in eastern White Pine County, Nevada is continuing to meet the company’s planned milestones. Viscount said its partner Centerra Gold Inc. (TSX:CG) (Centerra) has deployed a team of geologists on the project since late January to conduct fieldwork that includes geological mapping, the collection of geochemical samples, and claim staking. Centerra's team is also responsible for the oversight of the geophysical contractor crews who are completing IP, aeromagnetic surveys, and ground magnetic surveys on target areas developed by Centerra.

The Valens Company (TSX:VLNS, OTCQX:VLNCF) Inc. has announced an exclusive partnership with Epsilon Healthcare Limited, a diversified global healthcare and pharmaceuticals company, for access to Epsilon's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) facility in Australia for manufacturing products. Ketamine One (NEO:MEDI.AQN) Capital Limited (LSE:CAPD, FRA:C8D), a company focused on consolidating medical clinics and becoming a North American leader in mental health treatments, revealed that it has recently signed a non-binding letter of intent (LOI) to enter an arranged partnership with Illumma LLC. With clinics located in Austin and Bee Cave, Texas, Illumma is a leading ketamine infusion practice treating individuals with mental health issues, mood disorders and chronic pain issues. Ketamine One (NEO:MEDI.AQN) said that under the contemplated arrangement, Illumma’s two locations would be jointly supported alongside the company’s existing network of clinics across North America. The consideration for the proposed arrangement is pegged at around $980,000 and will be payable in $490,000 worth of Ketamine One (NEO:MEDI.AQN) shares and $490,000 in cash, of which $350,000 is to be allocated by Illumma toward the construction of future clinics.

XPhyto Therapeutics Corp. (CSE:XPHY, OTCQB:XPHYF) has announced the successful market launch of its 25-minute coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR Test called the COVID-ID Lab Test. Significantly, the XPhyto COVID-ID Lab Test is a PCR test with PCR accuracy but the results are now available within 25 minutes. The Vancouver-based bioscience accelerator said a pilot project at test centers in Berlin “successfully optimized” the operational procedures and protocols for the “rapid, efficient, and reliable use of COVID-ID Lab.” “This technical and operational knowledge is a critical component of the product launch process and to securing sales with existing and prospective customers,” it added.

Electric Royalties Ltd (TSX-V:ELEC, OTC:ELECF) said it has signed an agreement to acquire a 1% Net Smelter Royalty (NSR) on the Cancet lithium project in Quebec in an all-stock transaction. Electric Royalties will issue 3 million of its common shares as payment for the Cancet project royalty, which is subject to a hold period of four months for 50% of the stock, eight months for the next 25%, and a 12-month sell restriction for the remaining 25%. “The Cancet Project is favourably located in the heart of Plan Nord, an area in which the Quebec government is fostering resource development, including the next generation of battery metal deposits,” Electric Royalties CEO Brendan Yurik said in a statement.

Agra Ventures Ltd. (CSE:AGRA, OTC:AGFAF) said that further to its news release dated April 6, 2021, it has received notice from Organigram Holdings Inc. that the first of three Edibles & Infusions Corp. (EIC) earn-out milestones was satisfied on August 13, 2021. In a statement, Elise Coppens, CEO & director of Agra Ventures commented: “The achievement of the First Milestone and related payment highlights the ‘Cannabis 2.0’ platform that was incubated by the Company. Also, it is a testament to the Company’s bench strength and to what AGRA hopes to achieve going forward. Management is squarely focused on AGRA’s three pillars of growth: Boundary Bay Cannabis in Delta, BC, Farmako GmbH in Germany, as well as the pursuit of an arrangement to enter the US cannabis market." The first milestone was satisfied upon the delivery of EIC-manufactured product to the Alberta recreational cannabis marketplace and triggered the aggregate release of $3,500,000 worth of Organigram common shares to the vendors of EIC. Specifically, Agra is entitled to receive approximately 43%, or approximately $1,515,000 worth, of the earn-out shares within 30 days of satisfying the first milestone.

C3 Metals Inc has reported more positive drill results from its flagship Jasperoide copper-gold project in Peru, further suggesting the presence of a copper-gold porphyry system. The assays hail from five holes at the Montana de Cobre prospect and were sunk on section JAS2700, which sits 50 metres (m) north of high-grade copper-gold mineralization reported previously from another section. C3 Metals said mineralization at JAS2700 was "pervasive and laterally extensive for over 500 metres", remaining open in multiple directions and to depth.

Nextech AR Solutions Corp. (CSE:NTAR, OTCQB:NEXCF, NEO:NTAR) has said its AR for ecommerce offering will be generally available as a self-service SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) offering in early October 2021.
