Amergent Hospitality Group (OTCQB:AMHG) CEO Mike Pruitt tells Proactive New York the Charlotte, North Carolina-based owner, operator, and franchisor of restaurant brands has acquired fast casual restaurant concept PizzaRev, its first entrance into the pizza category.
Its wholly owned subsidiary Pie Squared Holdings will operate three company owned stores and have nine franchise locations. The acquisition news comes shortly after Amergent's second quarter earnings, where Pruitt discussed some of the highlights.
