West Wits Mining Limited (ASX:WWI) managing director Jac van Heerden joined Proactive's Stephen Gunnion to discuss the just-released definitive feasibility study (DFS) for Qala Shallows, the first stage of planned mine development at its Witwatersrand Basin Project (WBP) southwest of Johannesburg, South Africa.
Van Heerden telling Proactive that Qala Shallows is Stage 1 of 5 stages in the greater Witwatersrand project, and DFS studies may also be carried out on the remaining four targets. He envisages funding the future stages with production from Qala Shallows.
