Induction Healthcare Group PLC (AIM:INHC) has made James Balmain its sole chief executive and appointed former joint-CEO Hugo Stephenson as group executive director, with a focus on group product strategy and business development, particularly in the Asia Pacific region.
Stephenson will continue to manage the ongoing integration of Induction Attend Anywhere following the £26mln acquisition in May and will “play a pivotal role in driving commercial and operational success”, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
Dave Williams, former chief information officer from Just Eat Takeaway, has also been appointed chief technology officer with immediate effect.
He brings over 25 years' experience leading technology teams, including at CompuServe, AOL (NYSE:AOL) UK and the trading fund of the UK Ministry of Defence.
Induction highlighted that during his tenure as CIO at Just Eat, Williams held group-wide accountability for the stability, scalability and security of all e-commerce platforms and the technology used by Just Eat employees globally.
"The acquisition of Attend Anywhere has transformed Induction, increasing group revenue as well as our operational complexity, as our products underpin critical functions within the NHS at scale," said Balmain.
"These changes will simplify our management structure, increase accountability, and allow us to focus on both delivery for our core UK customers and creation of new opportunities outside the UK - particularly in the Asia-Pacific region where many of our staff are now based.
"Dave is a fantastic addition to the Induction senior management team. He has a strong track record with growth businesses and his proven expertise as a technology leader will be invaluable to the group as we establish our integrated flexible care platform.
