Okapi Resources in trading halt ahead of Enmore Gold Project drilling results

The Enmore Gold Project has a potentially analogous geological setting to the nearby Hillgrove Antimony-Gold Mine.

Okapi Resources Ltd (ASX:OKR, FRA:260) is in a trading halt ahead of drilling results from its Enmore Gold Project in northeast New South Wales.

The halt will remain in place until the beginning of trade on Wednesday, September 8 or when an announcement is made to market – whichever occurs earliest.

Drilling at Enmore

Drilling is designed to evaluate the two priority targets identified at the Sunnyside and Bora prospects.

OKR completed its initial reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the Enmore project on July 19, which comprised 10 holes for 1,257 metres over the Sunnyside and Bora prospects.

The program was designed to test the depth extent of shallow mineralisation reported from historic drilling.

Enmore has a potentially analogous geological setting to the nearby Hillgrove Antimony-Gold Mine owned and operated by Red River Resources Ltd (ASX:RVR) (FRA:R1R).

Despite extensive historic drilling at Enmore, there is limited deeper drilling with high gold grades associated with quartz veins and breccias previously returned in several deeper holes.
