Ascend Wellness Holdings (CSE:AAWH.U), Inc. (CSE: AAWH.U) (OTCQX:AAWH) Vice President of Investor Relations Rebecca Koar tells Proactive the New York-based vertically integrated cannabis operator is 'growing fast' as it continues to expand dispensary and cannabis production footprint.
Koar says the group, who operates in five US states, is taking on New York with a pending acquisition, and will look to grow its 18 dispensaries to 26 and its 90,000 sq ft of canopy to 250,000 sq ft.
The group recently reported its second quarter financials, where it grew total revenue by 28.5% to $97.5 million quarter-over-quarter, driven by the increase in ramp in production out of its Illinois cultivation facility and by its dispensaries.
