Fobi AI (TSX-V:FOBI, OTCQB:FOBIF) Inc announced a new deal to deploy its Wallet pass throughout the Canadian Hockey League’s venues.
The Canadian Hockey League, or CHL, comprises 60 teams across the Western Hockey League, the Ontario Hockey League and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and is widely considered a development path for future National Hockey League players.
Fobi said its Wallet pass solution will be used at the league’s venues to validate the credentials of CHL staff and athletes.

It will also enable check-in and check-out of CHL venues throughout Canada and the US, in addition to venue tracing, according to a release.
“Signing this deal with the CHL, the largest development league in the world with nine million fans watching games in 2019, is another validation of Fobi and our venue management solution including Wallet pass, ticketing and fan engagement,” Fobi CEO Rob Anson said in a statement.
“We look forward to helping the CHL implement their venue management solution, improving their ticketing solution, and enabling them to keep their fans updated before, during and after games.”
The CHL’s manager of national events Carla Graansma told investors that the Wallet pass will help ensure the safety of staff and everyone involved with the CHL.
“We look forward to introducing this digital platform to our teams and stakeholders,”Graansma added. “We are extremely excited about the additional ability to do personalized and targeted communications to our stakeholders through the Wallet passes.”
