Galantas Gold starts trading on OTCQX

“Our decision to cross-trade in the US is part of our strategy to grow our international shareholder base and promote greater liquidity," said CEO Mario Stifano

Galantas Gold Corp (AIM:GAL, TSX-V:GAL, OTC:GALKF, FRA:G2V2) said its common shares have commenced trading on the OTCQX in the US under the ticker symbol ‘GALKF’.

"The OTCQX listing marks an important milestone for Galantas,” said the group's chief executive, Mario Stifano.

“Our decision to cross-trade in the US is part of our strategy to grow our international shareholder base and promote greater liquidity as we continue our focus on expanding high-grade gold production and the mineral resources at our Omagh Project in Northern Ireland."

By trading on the OTCQX, the common shares of Galantas will be available to US investors during US working hours and priced in US dollars. Foreign private issuers that trade on the OTCQX and meet the requirements of US Securities Exchange Commission are exempt from SEC reporting and incur minimal ongoing costs as a result of trading on the OTCQX.
