Alternus Energy PLC (EURONEXT:ALT) (OSE: ALT) CEO Vincent Browne and BayWa r.e. Global Director of Solar Projects Benedikt Ortmann joined Proactive New York to speak about the independent power producer's entry into the Polish market with the acquisition of the 64.6 megawatt peak Witnica solar park from energy company BayWa r.e.
Browne says the park, which sits close to the German border between Poznan and Berlin, doubles Alternus' installed power capacity and the park is Poland’s first subsidy-free utility-scale solar installation and has a corporate power purchase agreement (PPA) in place.
