Thesis Gold Inc has reported that initial drilling at its Ranch gold-copper project in British Columbia, which began in early August, intersected visible gold and the company has added a second drill rig at the property.
Thesis also said soil sampling and rock prospecting campaigns at the Ranch project are nearing completion, while geophysical surveys are progressing, and early drill results expected in the coming weeks.
“The program is off to an incredible start and we are extremely pleased with the overall progress,” Thesis Gold CEO Ewan Webster said in a statement.

“Initial drilling has presented us with some spectacular visible gold and we look forward to sharing the assays in the next couple of weeks as they become available. The addition of our second drill rig will help accelerate us towards our ambitious 20,000 metre drill program,” Webster added.
The company noted that to date, drilling has focused on confirmation and infill holes at the high-grade Bonanza zone and will progress to high-priority exploration targets in the near-term with the addition of a second drill rig.
It added that early results have confirmed consistency with historical high-grade drill intercepts.
Thesis Gold’s wholly-owned Ranch gold project in British Columbia is a 17,832 hectare (Ha) asset, of which 90% is 'underexplored', that sits in the Toodoggone district in the prolific Golden Horseshoe area and around 300 kilometres north of the mining town of Smithers.
The property is home to 21 known near-surface epithermal gold deposits and prospects and the company suggests there is a two million ounce exploration target there.
