Chimeric Therapeutics Ltd (ASX:CHM) has appointed its chief operating officer Jennifer Chow, an industry veteran with cell therapy expertise, as its new chief executive officer and managing director.
Chow has more than 20 years of commercial strategy and marketing experience focused on cellular therapy, hematology and oncology.
She has been serving as chief operating officer of the clinical-stage cell therapy company since November 2020.

Chow’s experience
Before joining Chimeric, Chow was head of global marketing, analytics and commercial operations at Kite Pharmaceuticals, a leading global CAR T company acquired by Gilead Sciences in 2017 for US$12 billion.
At Kite Pharmaceuticals, she was responsible for assessing and prioritising research and external assets for development, ensuring optimal clinical development of its pipeline for global commercialisation.
She had also worked as global cell therapy commercial lead at Celgene Corporation (NASDAQ:CELG) and was responsible for designing and developing the global CAR T commercial strategy and operating model.
Besides this, she also worked for Roche, Nycomed/Takeda and Schering Canada.
Overall, Chow has more than 20 years of commercial strategy and marketing experience focused on cellular therapy, hematology and oncology.
