Salt Lake Potash thanks outgoing CEO for contribution

CEO Tony Swiericzuk will continue his association with the company as a board member and as a consultant to ensure a smooth transition to the new CEO.

Salt Lake Potash Ltd (AIM:SO4, ASX:SO4, OTC:WHELF, LSE:SO4) has thanked outgoing chief executive officer Tony Swiericzuk for his contribution to the company since joining in November 2018.

The company has today announced the resignation of Swiericzuk from the CEO role but he will continue as a board member and as a consultant to ensure a smooth transition to the new CEO, as well as providing ongoing strategic and technical advice.

In a statement, Salt Lake Potash said: “The company’s board would like to thank Swiericzuk for the energy and commitment he brought to the CEO role.

“Tony has guided the permitting, financing, development and construction of the Lake Way Project, positioning SO4 as an industry leader in Western Australia.”

SO4’s board is in advanced discussions with a replacement CEO and will be in a position to announce the new CEO in a couple of weeks.

The statement said: “The board is committed to the success of the Lake Way project and the larger vision of SO4 becoming a major global exporter of seaborne SOP.”
