Perseus Mining welcomes 48% increase in FY21 net profit and declares maiden dividend

Perseus Mining Ltd (ASX:PRU, TSX:PRU, OTC:PMNXF)'s Jeff Quartermaine speaks to Proactive following the news it's increased FY2021 net profit after tax by 48% to $139.4 million compared to FY2020. Perseus has also declared a maiden return of capital to shareholders of 1.50 cents per share, representing a 1% yield for FY2021. Quartermaine says the full year saw the successful completion of construction and commissioning at its third gold mine, Yaouré, as well as maintaining steady operating performance at its two other gold mines, Sissingué and Edikan.
