Elementos intersects further shallow tin mineralisation at Oropesa Tin Project ahead of additional assays

The strong results received to date confirm the company's decision to accelerate Oropesa's project development.

Elementos Ltd (ASX:ELT, OTC:ELTLF) has intersected shallow tin mineralisation at its flagship Oropesa Tin Project in Spain following the receipt of new assay data from drill hole Expn_055A.

This assay returned 24.8 metres at 0.35% tin from 3.8 metres, including 12.3 metres at 0.53% tin from 5.2 metres and follows another 33 results reported as part of the company’s 44-hole program with eight drill holes remaining.

Elementos chief executive officer Joe David said the latest drill hole assay results accomplished two of the company’s top drilling program goals.

Confirms continuity of tin mineralisation

“This assay data confirms the existence and continuity of a tin mineralisation zone, in an area not previously modelled or estimated, near surface and towards the centre of the previously reported mineral resource.

“The company intentionally targeted this zone with a number of drill holes following comprehensive groundwork from late 2019 to early 2021.

Location of drill holes with reported assay data as at August 24

“These results continue to validate the interpretation and understanding that the Elementos geological team has of the Oropesa tin deposit and rewards their diligence to re-visit, re-log and re-interpret historic project drilling data.

“We now look forward to receiving assays from the remaining holes which are all located along strike or down dip of this zone, to confirm the zone’s full extent and grades.”

David said the strong mineralisation intersections so near the surface further confirmed the company’s decision to accelerate the project’s development and the commencement of the definitive feasibility study.
