Landore Resources says drilling to the east of BAM deposit continued to intersect widespread ore grade gold

Landore has suspended drilling at Felix, an area to the west and along strike of the BAM deposit, until October 2021 because of government restrictions due to local fires in Ontario

Landore Resources Ltd (AIM:LND) (AIM:LND) said drilling to the east of the BAM gold deposit in Canada has continued to intersect widespread ore grade gold.

The additional step out and infill drilling programme 800 metres to the east and along strike of the BAM deposit concluded on August 1 with the completion of drill-hole 0421-818 on the West pit extension.

Sample preparation is now complete and assay results are expected to be received by mid-September, the company said.

However, Landore said it has been forced to suspend drilling at Felix, a highly prospective exploration area to the west and along strike of the BAM deposit, until October 2021 because of restrictions due to local fires in Ontario.

The Provincial Government issued an order on July 24 curbing industrial operations, including drilling, due to the unprecedented severe fire hazard in Northern Ontario, where more than 150 wildfires were burning.
