Verano Holdings Corp (CSE:VRNO, OTCQX:VRNOF) (CSE:VRNO) (OTCQX:VRNOF) Chief Investment Officer Aaron Miles tells Proactive the Chicago, Illinois-based multi-state cannabis operator has opened up its 36th Florida dispensary, and the company’s 84th overall.
Miles says the state of Florida is a big market for the group, as the state is 'primed to transition over to adult-use cannabis' from medical-use only.
He says the group has a large cultivation presence in Florida, with plans to open a second cultivation facility which he says will allow it to rapidly expand its retail footprint.
