Bradda Head Holdings Ltd (AIM:BHL) has hired Terravision Exploration which will conduct geophysical programmes across three lithium projects in Arizona.
Terravision will shoot ground-penetrating radar (GPR), referred to as ‘GPRplus’, at Bradda’s Burro Creek, Wikieup and San Domingo projects.
In a statement, the company said the GPR work will assist in upcoming exploration efforts by optimising drill plans, to avoid unnecessary drilling meterage and ultimately to accelerate the overall programme.
“The GPRplus technology is truly world-leading and will enable us to accurately plan our drilling programmes moving forward in order to maximise the resource potential of our assets,” said Bradda chief executive Charles FitzRoy.
"We already know from previous geological tests that the make-up of our pegmatite deposits are such that Terravision's systems will produce very high-quality geospatial imagery, which will again increase the chance of successful drilling operations in the near future."
FitzRoy added: "Conducting geophysical programmes like this ensures we are only drilling where we are confident we should, reducing the environmental impact and any unnecessary costs."
