ITV PLC (LSE:ITV) is planning to adapt more British shows for US audiences after the success of Love Island and The Chase.
The broadcaster has seen an 82% surge in interim production revenues on the other side of the Atlantic, where TV networks are hungry for unscripted programmes to attract audiences with cheap work.

“We’ve been talking about Come Dine With Me,” David George, chief executive of ITV America, told The Times.
“We’ve been talking about I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!. There are multiple formats that we’re engaged in conversations on with networks right now.”
I’m A Celebrity was last broadcast in the US in 2009, while the US version of Come Dine With Me was last aired ten years ago.
ITV also produced Queer Eye for Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) and a survival series called Alone. It’s also mulling over the production of documentaries and comedy shows.
Shares shed 1% to 119.97p on Monday morning.
